HumminGuru でまったく回転しない、または適切に回転しない LP もあります。その理由の 1 つは、一部の LP が実際に標準の 12 インチ レコードよりも小さいサイズで実行されていることです。一般的に、標準的な 12 インチ レコードの実際の寸法は 300mm から 302mm の間です。ただし、一部の LP はプレス不良により寸法が 300 mm 未満の楕円形になり、一部は製造中または小売店での不適切な保管によりレコードがラップされていました。したがって、これらの LP は、寸法のずれの結果として回転ホイールにドッキングしません。
一部のユーザーに頻繁に発生する場合のヒントを次に示します。マシンの左側にある回転ホイール 1 を確認し、ホイールの上端と下端を持ち、力を加えて水平に引き抜きます。厚さ約 1mm の EVA パッドまたは両面フォーム テープを見つけてください。回転ホイール 1 の背面に貼り付け、番号 1 を上にしてホイールを取り、スロットに水平に挿入します。コツは、ホイール 1 の位置を調整して、ほんの少し外側に座らせることです。 EVA パッド/フォーム テープの厚さは 2mm 以下で、底の溝を覆う必要があることに注意してください。交換キットに含まれている EVA 黒ステッカーを使用することもできます。各キットに 2 つずつある必要があります。

Hi, I have the problem that the wheels turn without problems but the gear that gives movement to wheel 2 (wheel 1 is just a slave without a motor) does not want to work… what can I do?

A lot of records when turning in the cleaner rock back and forth, and rise up and down as they rotate. I have tried moving the record size adjustment a little bit to see if this solved the problem. Any solutions?
same problem, even after installing their “fix”. Too many records get stuck. I have to sit down there with it running to bump the machine or push it slightly. IS THERE A BETTER FIX?
I just cleaned a library of 200+ old LPs, mostly from the 1970s and 1980s. Only one refused to spin with the Humminguru left as it came out of the box. That LP worked perfectly when I added the black EVA sticker to Wheel 1. I didn’t have any of the problems some users reported (needing to monitor the machine, etc.). 100% satisfied customer.
I finally got around to applying the EVA black sticker to the back of a replacement roller to try to clean a few LPs that wouldn’t spin. It worked successfully right away. Only a few millimeters can make all the difference.
