Aria Portable Cassette Player
HumminGuru’s journey began in 2019 with a deep respect for analog music and a clear purpose: to create innovative, accessible products that make vinyl care simpler and more enjoyable. Our vinyl-care products help music lovers worldwide preserve their records and enjoy them at their best.
Thoughtful design, convenience, and attention to detail remain at the heart of everything we make. With HumminGuru Aria, we are extending this philosophy from groove to tape, bringing the same thoughtful approach to another important analog format.
HumminGuru Aria is not a departure from vinyl. It is the next chapter in our commitment to tangible music.
The Next Chapter
In 1963, Philips presented its EL3300 Pocket Recorder and accompanying EL1903 cassette at the Internationale Funkausstellung in Berlin. By enclosing both tape reels within a small protective shell, the cassette eliminated the need to thread loose tape, making recording simpler and music easier to carry. Designed for convenient everyday use, it helped bring tape recording and portable listening into people’s homes and daily lives.
HumminGuru Aria carries that original spirit forward through a thoughtfully designed player that celebrates the cassette’s distinctive sound, portability and creative possibilities.
HumminGuru Aria Portable Cassette Player
An aria is a solo musical passage that lets a voice take centre stage and express a song's full emotion and character. We chose the name Aria for our cassette player because it reflects our vision of letting every recording come through naturally and stay true to its original character. Whether you are rediscovering an old favourite or creating a new mixtape, HumminGuru Aria lets the music on every tape be heard in its most natural and expressive form.
A New Standard in Sound
At the heart of Aria is a determination to raise the standard for modern portable cassette sound. Through careful engineering, extensive tuning and comparative listening, it delivers greater clarity, finer detail and more natural stereo balance. This refined performance brings out the warmth, full-bodied tone and natural texture of every tape. The result sets a new benchmark for new-production cassette players and places Aria among the finest available today.

Take Aria, Wherever the Day Leads
Crafted with a high-quality aluminium case, Aria feels cool, solid and premium in your hand. Its design blends modern simplicity with nostalgic cassette character, creating a player you will be proud to carry or display. Designed for listening on the move, Aria features built-in strap holders for attaching a carrying strap, making it easy to take with you wherever you go! Simply connect your headphones to the 3.5 mm jack and enjoy your music wherever the day takes you.
Bring Aria Home—and Connect to More
Aria goes beyond personal listening with stereo RCA input and output—a feature rarely found on today’s portable cassette players.
Back at home, simply flip Aria into its tabletop position, bringing the cassette face-up and into view as it plays. Connect the stereo RCA output to a compatible amplifier, speakers, a hi-fi system or studio equipment for fuller stereo playback.
With its stereo RCA input, Aria connects directly to compatible home audio and studio equipment to record from a line-level audio source and create your own mixtapes.
The Cassette Experience
Aria gives each essential cassette function its own physical control:
Stop · Fast-Forward · Rewind · Play · Record · Volume Wheel
Stereo PlayBack
1. Connect your headphones to the 3.5 mm headphone jack, or connect Aria’s stereo RCA outputs to a compatible line-level input on an amplifier, receiver, or powered speaker system.
2. Open the cassette door and insert your tape with the exposed tape edge facing upward. Close the door securely.
3. When using headphones, turn down the volume before pressing Play. Gradually raise it to a comfortable listening level. When using the RCA outputs, adjust the volume through the connected audio system.
4. Press Fast-forward or Rewind to find the part of the tape you want to hear. Aria stops automatically when playback reaches the end of the tape. To stop at any time, press Stop.

Stereo Recording
Make the Mixtape Yours! Aria lets you record music directly onto cassette from a compatible line-level audio source.
1. Connect a line-level audio source to Aria’s stereo RCA inputs. Compatible sources may include a computer, music player, mixer, preamplifier, or another device with an appropriate line output.
2. Insert a blank Type I cassette with its recording-protection tabs intact.
3. Prepare the music on your connected source. Press Record and Play together firmly until both buttons click into position, then begin playback from the source.
4. When the recording is complete, press Stop. Rewind the cassette, press Play, and enjoy your new mixtape!

Rechargeble
A built-in 2,000 mAh rechargeable lithium battery provides up to 12 hours of continuous playback. Recharging takes approximately 4-5 hours through the USB-C port.

From private listening on the move to connected stereo playback and recording at home, Aria adapts naturally to the way you want to enjoy your tapes. Play the memories. Record what comes next. Keep analog in motion!
