HumminGuru NOVA features six buttons, representing 4 different modes: Auto mode, Washing mode, Draining mode, and Drying mode.
In the Auto and Washing modes, the user can choose between the 2-minute (Quick wash), 5-minute (Deep wash), and 10-minute (Heavy wash) settings. The inclusion of the newly added 10-minute heavy washing mode in the NOVA provides added convenience for cleaning heavily soiled records. The user can select the desired duration for the ultrasonic washing cycle based on the condition of the record.
The new Draining mode makes it convenient to drain the water directly when the user adjusts the water level in the water basin. This redesign also eliminates the need to go through the entire water draining process before starting the Drying mode each time.
Fast Drying with Upgraded Fan Power
The drying efficiency has undergone a significant upgrade in the NOVA! It incorporates more powerful fans that can transit along with the adjustable rotation wheels. Whether cleaning 7", 10", or 12" records, the fans consistently blow directly onto the record surfaces, ensuring highly effective and rapid drying. The NOVA offers drying time settings of 3 minutes (I) and 6 minutes (II). With the use of The Small Bottle, complete drying can be achieved in just 3 minutes. See Video!

Patented Design: No Record Adapters Needed!
The NOVA includes a patented design of revolutionary adjustable rotation wheels. This breakthrough design allows the cleaner to be compatible with 7", 10", and 12" records without the need for record adapters. The user can easily apply the water basin supports using a maintenance tool and conveniently adjust the position of the rotation wheels for 7” and 10” record. See Video!
In addition, this design enables users to fine-tune the position of the rotation wheels to accommodate LPs with slight deviations in dimension that may not perfectly dock on the wheels and, consequently, not rotate smoothly.
Quieter & Highly Efficient Cleaning
The NOVA features an upgraded power drive that optimizes the dual transducers' stability and compatibility. Moreover, a Sweep Frequency technique has been applied to ensure the even distribution of cavitation energy in the water, providing uniform cleaning action on the record. The Design: Gentle but Effective
The NOVA has two ultrasonic transducers emitting 40 kHz ultrasonic vibrations with an average power output of 45 Watts. The chosen ultrasonic frequency and power is specifically tailored to its unique structural design, ensuring effective but gentle cleaning for all types of records, especially older ones.
One key feature is the water basin design. The NOVA utilizes a single-unit stainless steel water basin to minimize energy loss that may arise from assembled components. This closed-loop basin design ensures energy efficiency and optimal ultrasonic cleaning performance in the tank.
Another critical design aspect is the proximity between the vinyl record's surface and the water basin wall, which is a mere 10mm (a little over 3/8 inch). This close distance allows the transducer to apply ultrasonic cavitation directly onto the record's surface. Therefore, the NOVA is powerful in removing dirt, dust, and grime from the vinyl records at the 40kHz frequency within a 10mm distance in a closed-loop basin.
The package includes a 5ml sample of The Small Bottle, an alcohol-free cleaning formula designed to reduce record’s surface tension and facilitate better penetration into the record grooves during ultrasonic cleaning. It is also particularly helpful for drying, especially in humid environments.

Cleaning Effectiveness
For testing purposes, extremely moldy and dusty records were utilized. To clean these records, a mixture of distilled water and 2-3 drops of The Small Bottle ultrasonic vinyl record cleaning agent was employed. Considering the high humidity in the testing environment, the Deep Auto Mode (5-minute cleaning cycle) was selected, followed by a 6-minute drying cycle.
Please note that the results obtained are provided for reference only. Each record has unique conditions, and as a result, the cleaning outcomes may vary. In the case of records that are both moldy and have fingerprints, it is advisable to perform a pre-cleaning step using the HumminGuru I-Brush Vinyl Record Cleaning Kit before utilizing the HumminGuru NOVA.
Visual Countdown Timer
The NOVA includes a visual countdown timer that provides an approximate indication of when the cycle will be completed. This feature allows the user to have peace of mind and continue with other tasks while the record is being cleaned and dried.
The countdown timer activates and begins blinking clockwise from the chosen button.
Practical Cover Lid
The cover lid of the NOVA is designed to serve a dual purpose. In addition to its primary function as a protective cover, it also acts as a record drying rack. The drying rack can securely hold up to five records (7", 10", 12" LPs), making it ideal for users who prefer to clean a batch of records at once and allow them to air dry naturally. Moreover, for convenient storage, the assembled rack can be inserted back into the machine without the need for disassembly. See Video!
But that's not all—the cover lid also serves as a record display stand. Users can place the “Now Playing” album on the rack, leaning it against the “HumminGuru Birds”, to enjoy the album cover artwork while listening to the music!

The NOVA in White Sand color exudes a timeless and classic aesthetic, seamlessly blending into any home and audio setup. Its clean and minimalist appearance adds an element of elegance and refinement, and the soft and neutral tone of the White Sand color adds a touch of tranquility and nostalgia.
Safety Feature - Thermal Protection & Cooling
The NOVA has a built-in thermal sensor to prevent overheating during ultrasonic activity. When the water temperature in the basin reaches or exceeds ≥55˚C (≥131˚F), the machine will automatically stop the working cycle and display a solid yellow light as a warning. To address this situation, the user can initiate a cool down cycle, during which the water will drain out and the drying fans will activate simultaneously to cool the machine for 6 minutes. This safety measure ensures the machine operates safely and protects the record from potential damage caused by overheating.
Improved Internal Design
The improved internal design of the NOVA includes measures to prevent water leakage issues during operation. In the event that users accidentally pour water onto the fans or wheels, the water is directed into an internal reservoir. When the water tank is reinserted into the compartment, the water automatically drains back into the tank.
Power Compatibility and Travel-Friendly Design
The power adapter is compatible with a wide voltage range of 100-240V, ensuring its usability in various countries across the globe. The NOVA is equipped with 4 interchangeable plugs commonly used in different countries. This travel-friendly design eliminates the need for a separate travel adapter and provides users with the convenience of using the machine wherever they go.
